I'd suggest to go to "Sandwichic" which is trattoria Sabatino is what your looking for, but closed for August (this place is a locals hangout, needs a 15 minute walk from the centre so puts a lot of tourists off thankfully!) We went to a small Trattoria called Trattoria Antichi Cancelli and the Florentine steak It’s been 11 years since I was in Florence (sigh), but I really liked the Trattoria da Ruggero near Porta Romana— the food was straightforward, unaffected, traditional and delicious. Pretty much anything that says Trattoria (means family restaurant) will be good. The only reason they're so famous is because they're good at advertising. Antico vinaio is way too overrated and not worth the hype nor the money in my opinion. We went at opening so we were the only ones there. The food in Florence was amazing. Can you give me 3 reasonably priced spots (street food, gelato, sit down restaurants, whatever food related!) .
