Jelco tonearm technics 1200. It's been about 5 years since I set up Hi there, I’ve been looking for a Jelco arm to pop onto a technics 1200 MK5 I have with a Precision Sound Lab PS. ? There are some disassembly videos of the New 3 mm aluminum armboard to convert your Technics SL1200 or SL1210 to accomodate the terrific Jelco 9" tonearms - a significant upgrade from the stock Techie arm. Included is a kit for mounting to a Technics SL-1200MK2 and/or variant tables. Some don't like Rega derived arms on Technics 1200/1210 but I think they sound very good on them. So far what I have found the Jelco Seberal companies, mainly in UK are offering adaptors for MK2 with Jelco or SME tonearms, look on eBay the Jelco are now difficult to find as the company was closed 5 years ago, Come on all the Jelco Jockeys!
